Capsule Giveaway 2009 WinnerMy name is Melanie North. I have four kids and a wonderful husband, Gregg, who works very hard to provide for our family. We have four children: two girls and two boys. Micah is 7, Abby is 5 1/2, Logan is 3 1/2 and Caleb is 2. Our daughter Abby was diagnosed with Celiac Disease almost four years ago now. While it's a very treatable condition, it took 13 doctors and 3 hospitals to finally figure out what was gong on with her so she was literally dying in our arms before it was discovered. That left us in $50K of medical debt and we had to sell our house and move in with my husband's parents. But in the end, we were just happy to have our daughter alive and healthy again!

After we had lived with my in-laws for a year and a half, Gregg was offered a job more than 2000 miles away in Georgia. The opportunity was too good to pass up but this meant that we had to make some serious decisions about living arrangements. After a long hunt and some cramped living quarters, our family of six finally lucked out and found a house in foreclosure that was perfect for us. While money is tight and the house is in need of a lot of work, it is so good to have a home again! My children agree!

Like most children, my kids love to swim! Especially Abby! We call her our little fish because she's always been drawn to water, even as a baby! We have an above ground pool but have yet to get it cleaned and ready for the kids to swim in it because along with Celiac Disease (which now 3 of my 4 children have been diagnosed with), two of my kids also have asthma. Because of this, we are a mostly chemical free household. After having researched chemical free alternatives for our pool, we decided that a smaller baby pool that we could let them wade in was a more affordable option for now. The chemical free filters and systems that are available are just not affordable for us. But recently, a friend of mine who has a AquaSmarter system directed me to your website and said, "Send in your story! It's worth a shot!" So here I am and well... that's the North family in a nutshell!  In any case, I hope to be able to have one of your systems in the future and when it is a possibility for us, I'll definitely let you know how we like it. Capsule Giveaway 2008 WinnersI am anxious to get started using the AquaSmarter program with our spa.  We bought our house just over a year ago and it came with a great Coleman spa.  My family has really enjoyed using it and we are now running out of the chemicals that the previous owner left for us for the spa.  With three children, all 5 yrs and younger I wanted a system I could feel confident about using that would help keep them from the traditional level of chemicals used in most home spas.  Unfortunately with summer in full swing, our dream of a chemically free spa will have to wait.  My husband is now between jobs and we are having a hard time making ends meat.  So we'll have to wait until we can get finances back in order.  I do plan on letting you know what we think of the program once we have had a chance to buy it and use it.  I look forward to affording the spa program and getting started.  Blessings,  Rolinda  Wife, Mother, Friend.

Rolinda's (2008 Winner) Update...

Tue 4/29/2009 12:55 AM:  Thanks for the e-mail.  We're loving the system.  It's nearing the end of it's life expectancy and we'll need another one soon.  So, we've been saving as we can.  I have enclosed pictures of our Jacuzzi during the first week of using it last year.  We are so appreciative to have been on the receiving end of your company's generosity.  I must note that the proof doesn't come from the transformation in the first week (that can be jointly attributed to the closely watched high levels of chlorine), but the look of the water after 2 or 3 months of continuous use of the AquaSmarter system.  Unfortunately I don't have a picture to show you of that, but we were just amazed!

Looking forward to our second year with the AquaSmarter system.  We'll be placing our order in the next month or so as finances allow.  We have sang the raises of AquaSmarter to many friends and family, and many have seen the quality of our water.  Maybe some day that will turn into orders for you.  One family at a time, right?  Blessings,  Rolinda German

Thu 7/10/2009 10:24 AM:  Dear AquaSmarter,  I want to express my sincerest gratitude for the generosity that your company has shown my family.  First, last year when were the recipients of a free AquaSmarter capsule for our outdoor home spa.  And now again with the change made to provide us with a free capsule for life.  As I have mentioned to your staff before, we have been spreading the word about AquaSmarter to everyone we know.  It's a wonderful product, and the generosity your company shows the world is simply outstanding.  Thank you.

I am very interested in the research you've been doing with raw milk and the AquaSmarter system.  We as a family only drink raw milk, both goat and cow.  Are you using the Golden Egg system to eliminate the foreign pathogens and how does it affect the beneficial bacteria?  While we currently enjoy refrigerated raw milk for up to 10 days without any processing, it would be great to be able to eliminate the bad bacteria while preserving what makes raw milk so beneficial.  Any specific information you can provide would be great.

Dear Janelle,

You asked for an update from our family at Stephen's request, so we offer this one.

We don't have any new pictures to share with you at this time, but we want to say that we continue to be amazed by the difference that the AquaSmarter products have made in our lives.  We continue to enjoy our hot tub, virtually chemical free.  It has become a way for us to actually help our children when they become ill.  We let them play in the water and it has helped clear up congestion and ease their breathing.  What a wonderful gift!  We have been using the Blue Ionizing Egg you sent last summer in a gallon pitcher of water in our fridge and what a difference!  The water tastes wonderful and everything we make with the water tastes so much better.  The year before we received a Golden Super-Ionizing Egg from you and we had wonderful success using it in our raw milk.  Rolinda felt that much more confident giving our family living milk knowing it was lasting longer and proving to be even more cost effective for us than before. We continue to share our praises for AquaSmarter with those we know and meet.  Thank you, again for providing us with your miracles each and every year.

"Our 5 month old daughter won't drink her Baby Formula without your Water.  She refuses to drink bottled water.  She has tried to give the baby regular store drinking water she spits the bottle out.
